Following the highly successful Annual concert on Saturday 9th April, presentations were made on behalf of the Choir by John Griffiths AM and Musical Director Siân Hatton. Bass chorister John Evans was thrilled to receive a certificate and a solid gold, hand made bass clef badge to celebrate and acknowledge his 50 year’s continuous service.
A long service award and silver lapel badge commemorating his 25 years of continuous service were also made to baritone David Kirton.
Lifetime Vice President and Distinguished Service awards were made to long serving choristers, baritone Doug King and bass David Scott and finally a similar award was made to recently retired Choir President Richard Evans who also received the gift of a digital camera from a grateful choir in acknowledgement of his long and distinguished service over 23 years.
