On Monday. following our Annual concert we were delighted to welcome Alan Loy to our Choir Hall. Alan is a friend and work colleague of top tenor Stephen Davies who brought him along to have a listen.
Alan was so impressed that he decided he’d give it a go and asked Siân if he could take a first voice test. He went into the back room, warbled a few notes and Siân was delighted to announce that Alan is a Second Tenor. These are in short supply so the announcement was met with rapturous applause from all the Choristers. Alan then took up his place next to Alyn Dawe in the back row.
