It was announced last night that Musical Director Siân has successfully completed her B.Sc. degree in Community Nursing at the University of Glamorgan. Llongyfarchiadau mawr, many congratulations from all of us in the choir, Siân.
To quote Siân “I did the degree at the University of Glamorgan. It was a 2 year course part time and resulted in a Bachelor of Science degree and I am now a Specialist Nurse Practitioner in practice nursing. It was a lot of hard work, especially with work and other commitments but well worth it. It means that I will now take on more responsibility in the surgery such as prescribing and minor illness clinics.”
I don’t know how Siân does it, studying for a degree, full time nursing, her Choir and music commitments and looking after Dai as well. Little miss dynamo or what!
