Choristers will have noticed Colleen with the camera taking photographs of the visit of the Victims of Chernobyl Children last week. She also video’d some of our practice performances and Marya playing Ave Maria on her flute.
Lyn has put together a DVD of the evening and is offering this to choir members (and others) from next Thursday at a minimal cost of £2 each, of which at least £1-50 willl be donated to the Victims of Chernobyl Childrens Fund. Since all of the children who visited us are suffering from radiation sickness, this is a worthy cause for the choir to assist. It was worth £2 of anybody’s money just to hear brave Marya play Ave Maria on her flute, so please give this local charity your support.

Proceeds after costs to date are about £70 to be donated to the Trust. A few in the choir have donated £5 or more, thank you very much. There are still a few DVD’s left, so hurry up, they are a limited edition! When they’re gone, they’re gone! The Choir funds will generously match whatever is raised to support this local cause.
