This year the Choir is supporting Prostate Cymru Charity and is hoping to raise £10, 000 for this wonderful charity. Prostate cancer is more common among men than is realised and can be cured if caught early enough.
The first event of the year is a TABLE TOP SALE organised by the Choir’s Cycle Club (Côr Meibion Caldicot Cycle Club) at the Choir Hall in Mill Lane, Caldicot in which 60 tables at a cost of £5 have been made available. The good news is that all the tables have been sold raising £300 for Prostate Cancer. Many thanks to all our supporters.
There’s a saying that one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, so please come along to the Choir Hall on Sunday 19th January at 10-am until 2-00-pm with your wallets and purses and you may be able to pick up a bargain. With 60 tables there should be plenty on offer! There are several fund raising events planned for the year including a 12 hour endurance ride, a 3 day sponsored cycle ride from Fishguard to Caldicot, a Quiz Night and an Open Evening at the Choir Hall.
