New Chorister follows in father’s footsteps

The Choir is always keen to welcome new members and especially to sons of former choristers.

A few months ago after many years of vain persuasion, David Lynch was finally encouraged to follow in the footsteps of his late father, second tenor Larry Lynch who served the choir for many years.

Soon after coming through the doors of the choir hall David passed his first voice test and was designated a second tenor, just like his father.

A few months later, on 22nd May, David came out of the back room to the news that he had passed the second voice test to join the ranks as a full member of Caldicot Male Voice Choir and on June 2nd this year David was presented with a certificate and choir tie to mark his achievement by Chairman Graham ‘Spike’ Hughes.
