






The Choir will be once again participating in the long awaited Massed Male Voices concert at the Royal Albert Hall in April next year. Organised by the Welsh Association of Male Choirs this huge event involving nearly 900 choristers form all over Wales with some from England is eagerly awaited by all.
In preparation rehearsals are organised on a regular and local basis and this Sunday, the 2nd April some 200 choristers from choirs in East Wales got together at St Julian’s High School in Newport. Among the participants was the largest contingent. following its two Annual concerts on the previous Friday and Saturday, over 20 choristers from Caldicot Male Voice Choir took part.
Under the direction of conductor Alwyn Humphreys the choirs were put through their paces including The Soldier’s Chorus, A Roman War Song, Kwmbayah and several others. Hard work but it will be well worth it to give an incredible performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
