As part of the Caldicot Male Voice Choir’s fund raising for Ready, Steady, Go, Jayne Stallard and her husband, chorister Rob Stallard organised a fun quiz night at the Choir Hall on November 11th 2022.
This was the first time that Jayne and Rob could organise one of these evenings for three years due to Covid 19 restrictions and was a very welcome return. Questions to tax the participant teams ranged from music, theatre, films, science, sport and general knowledge. Some were pictorial or puzzles in nature.
Purely a fun night to raise funds for Ready, Steady Go, a local charity based in Undy which supports local children living with the effects of autism and their families, the evening, including a generous raffle raised £270 on the night.
The event shows that following the pandemic, events and concerts at the Choir Hall are now up and running and are nearly back to pre pandemic days. The Choir Hall is now ready to take bookings for wedding receptions, social events and meetings.
