A previously Annual event, interrupted by Covid restrictions, for the first time since November 2019 Caldicot Male Voice Choir was able to perform on stage prior to the switching on of the Christmas Lights in Caldicot Town Centre on the afternoon of 26th November.
Conducted by Shirley Anne James and accompanied by Musical Director Sian Hatton, the choir, dressed in colourful Christmas jumpers, Santa hats and fleece jackets as protection from the biting cold and wind, went on stage and entertained the enthusiastic audience to Christmas favourites including ‘Joy to the World. ‘White Christmas’. ‘While Shepherds Watch’ to the tune familiarly known as Scarlet Ribbons, ‘Casatschok’ and ‘Silver Bells’ made famous by Bing Crosby and Dean Martin.

The Choir left the stage to wide applause before retiring to a local hostelry to avoid the oncoming rain and warm up.
