Little Princess Annalese is in the pink with her new bed

After a year of intensive fund raising by Caldicot Male Voice Choir, its associated Cycle Club and Golf Society, the great day has finally arrived for the delivery of the specially designed bed for Caldicot youngster, 6 year old Annalese Gosling. Annalese suffers from the rare genetic disorder Fibrodisplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) which means that any injury causes soft tissue to turn to bone. Her new bed, with its transparent sides and extra padding will ensure her safety while she sleeps and the many adjustable positions will provide much needed support and comfort.

Specialist bed manufacturers, Bakare Beds in Plymouth were able to make all the extra padding in glorious pink at Annalese’s request and the thrill and excitement of Annalese and her sister Taylor-mai is obvious from the photographs. ‘It will make a massive difference to Annalese’s life’ said their mother, Leanne and she gave a huge thank you to the Choir for their mammoth fund-raising efforts to obtain the bed for Annalese.
