On 27th June the Choir were proud to sing in the town centre prior to the parade and proclamation of the forthcoming Eisteddfod in Abergavenny in 2016.
This has to be done at least one year before the Eisteddfod takes place and Caldicot is honoured that the castle will be the venue for the Proclamation.
Sharing four hours of entertainment from local schools, choirs and theatre groups the choir of close to sixty choristers squeezed onto the stage in the middle of the market to sing four of its Welsh repertoire; Rachie, O Gymru, Yfory and closing with Llef to a large and appreciative crowd of shoppers and onlookers.
