– except to say how fabulous the concert will be with one of the best choirs in Wales singing pieces that haven’t been heard for many years and some new ones; singer, actress and TV presenter  Shân Cothi as solo artist with her accompanist David Doidge and much loved comedian and presenter Don Maclean as compère.  I’m sworn to secrecy about the details, but you will have never seen the Leisure Centre set up like this before, thanks to Kirsten and Chris of Inanda Events of Caldicot!   The new banners and signs around and inside the building, those in the town and the fabulous illuminated choir badge above the hall entrance have been supplied by That Media Group of Caerwent, thanks Kevin.

GRAND PARTY on SUNDAY

 

Following the concert, Sunday 14th there will be a GRAND PARTY – FREE TO ALL at the Choir hall to continue the celebrations of our 50th Anniversary.  According to organiser Mark Stocker, and he has no reason to lie, there will be fabulous entertainment for adults and children, evening disco and refreshments for everyone from 4pm onwards.  Please come along to celebrate the contribution our brilliant choir has given to the town over the past 50 years!  If you haven’t been to our choir hall before, why not pop in – what have you got to lose? You know where it is – opposite the Leisure Centre in Mill Lane – you can’t miss it!  Look for the banners!
