Great News! Recent recruits, Spencer Dowse (Top tenor) and David Hennesey (Baritone) both made the desision to impress Siân with their new found choral skills for their second voice test and BOTH PASSED!
The story behind them joining is that they were in a local pub, enjoying a refreshing, cool lager when they thought ‘let’s see what goes on in the Choir Hall’ They did, sat and listened for a while, oooh’d and aaah’d through their first voice test and went back to the pub before their lager had warmed up. It just goes to show how simple it is to join our choir, but it remains a major commitment once you’ve joined! Dave, you’ll have to stand at the back because the baritones can’t see Siân or Shirley Ann if you’re in the front row, and Spencer – ditch the crutches! The bad news for both of you is that you’ll have to pay subs now and learn the pieces for the Gala Concert next month. No hiding place (especially for Dave)!

It is always a great pleasure to welcome new members into the choir and we wish Spencer and Dave a long and happy association with us.
