John Nicholson and the others in the JJR trio (Jason and Roly) have asked that we do not hold a Valentine’s night this year to raise funds for the choir, but that we hold a Valentine ‘s Dance at which they will entertain us for the benefit of the Children of Chernobyl Charity. This local charity enables child victims of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster to visit this country, and in particular the Caldicot area. The choir, having agreed wholeheartedly to support this event anounces it will be held on Friday 10th February. If you want to be romantic on that night , there’s no reason why you shouldn’t! Or any other night for that matter!
The evening’s entertainment will be supported by Ellen James, the fabulously talented, Country singing daughter of locally well-known musician Hayden James.
Tickets will be available from next Monday from John and Vanessa at £6 each. Further details will follow.
