If you look and listen to Bill, you wouldn’t guess that he was a day over 65, yet on Monday 9th January he modestly celebrated his unbelievable 89th birthday. I believe originally from the Port Talbot area, Bill has been a chorister for well over half a century and has sung in every section. He is a stalwart in the 2nd Basses of our choir, looked up to by all, and is still enjoying every minute of his time in the choir. He now has to come from the Bristol area to every practice and is an example to us all for his talent, experience and commitment. Heartfelt Congratulations Bill, on reaching this milestone and we should lay on something special for your 9oth. Let’s not forget one of our best!
