It was really great to see Bill Thomas pay us a visit on Thursday night. Bill has been out of action since Christmas with a long running battle with illness. His treatment has prevented close contact with visitors and his turning up at practice is hopefully a sign that things are getting a lot better. I for one look forward to him bellowing down my left ear again in the baritones. Our thoughts are with his wife Jan as well.
I bumped into Alan Harris on Monday at Tesco in Chepstow and after a brief reminisce I suggested that he pay us a visit some time. He has gone one better and decided to return to the choir. Welcome back Alan. Second tenors need you and hope the suit still fits.
