Ken Cooper has just advised the web-site that the Guest Artist for our Annual Concert on the 14th April 2012 will be Huw Euron, a talented bass/baritone. Huw hails from Caerphilly and played Darren in Pobol y Cwm for which he won a BAFTA/Cymru best actor award in 2004 . He has recently returned from a Christmas tour with Only Men Aloud and appeared with them on the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special in 2010. A winner of several notable awards for both acting and singing, he is not least, a twice winner of a coveted Blue Ribbon Award at National Eisteddfodau. I am sure that he is just what we’ve been looking for, particularly the ladies. With the amazing sounds of Caldicot Male Voice Choir and Huw Euron, our Annual Concert next year is a must for our diaries – especially if you’re in the choir – or you’ll have Siân to answer to!
