From ‘The Libretto’ – April 2011
The Annual golf tour to Ashbury in Devon was a great success all due to Dave Gould. 20 of us set out on a Sunday morning in glorious sunshine and headed off across the bridge. the overall winner was Leon Jones and the choir. We gave a few sing songs in the evening and from this we may have one new member and a concert in Hereford. Leon was giving out choir info left, right and centre.
Alyn Dawe had a fine’s book which everyone seemed to go into. The funniest fine was for Rolly Bennett. His fine was “He needed to slow down his swing and speed up his walk”.
