This web-site has recently featured some of the maintenance work that has gone on recently; from repainting, cleaning guttering, cleaning and polishing, replacing doors and lighting and not least the monumental job of stripping and polishing the floor.
Keeping our Hall in peak condition makes it not only a wonderful place to sing, practice and socialise, but it also makes it more amenable to benefit the local community and charities. The hall recently played host once again to the National Blood Transfusion Service since it is the largest and most suitable facility in the area in which to carry out this extremely valuable function. Blood donors are less stressed to be able to donate blood in clean, pleasant surroundings and the staff are always very complimentary on the facilities and condition of the hall for both themselves and donors alike.
