With expertise, equipment and chemicals supplied by 2nd Tenor Mike Thurman the group of Mike, baritones Dai Kirton, Theo Roberts, Leon Jones and bass chorister Dave Scott worked like Trojans over the 3 days of the Bank Holiday weekend to move all the tables, chairs, piano and staging out of the hall. They chemically stripped the old surface away and applied a new coating to achieve a fantastic polished result before putting everything back in place. This was a tremendous achievement to give the choir hall a much needed uplift before the visit of our Gala Concert guests, Bridgend Male Choir on September 8th. Well done, lads.
The rest of the choir will need to polish their shoes, as well as their performance to match this result!
