Choir Supports Sir Ian Botham Cardiff Walk

On the 18th April at the Swalec Stadium, Cardiff, Sir Ian Botham will cross the finishing line of the Cardiff stage of his 10 cities Charity walk to the uplifting sounds of the choral voices of Caldicot Male Voice Choir.

The choir is delighted and proud to receive an invitation to support the volunteers, spectators and not least Sir Ian at this fabulous event, so please give it your full support.

56 year old Sir Ian is carrying out another of his famous walks to raise money for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Charity which he has supported for many years, raising over £13 million in the process since his walk from John o’Groats to Land’s End in 1985.  Starting on the 12th April in Glasgow, Beefy’s Great British Walk will be joined by Celtic FC manager Neil Lennon.  On Wednesday 18th, starting from the Cardiff Harlequin’s ground, Forest Farm Road at 12 pm he will walk the 4 mile Taff Trail from Forest Farm, down the riverbank, through Hailey Park and finishing at the Swalec Stadium at about 3pm.

By the time the Great British Walk is completed in London on Saturday 21st April, Sir Ian will have covered over 150 miles.
