The Choir members were upset to learn that Jeff Williams has had to regrettably stand down as Public Relations Officer due to ill health. Jeff is staying on as a chorister in the tenors though.
Although Jeff had only bravely taken on this job a short while ago from Ken Cooper, he had already made a considerable impact in getting the Choir noticed, not only with his elegant but humorous style of writing for the local press, but also for his comments and advice for this web-site. Jeff was tireless after concerts in spreading the word to everyone, especially in encouraging youngsters to join us. We all hope he makes a speedy recovery and whoever takes up this post will have a hard act to follow.
