Following its Annual Concert on April 6th, open to the public, over 40 choristers from Caldicot Male Voice Choir will be appearing at the Royal Albert Hall on April 27th.
Many choirs are not able to attend as a group but over 50 will be independently appearing at the Hall as part of the Festival of Male Choirs.
Among these are three choristers from Dursley Male Voice Choir. They have been travelling over the bridge weekly to Caldicot to join in at practices to learn their parts of the pieces they will be singing at the Royal Albert Hall under the baton of Alwyn Humphreys.
Caldicot is pleased to have welcomed second tenor Simon Bilous (centre) and basses Laurence Bryant (left) and Roland Halford (right) to the practices following Dursley and Caldicot‘s joint concert at the Choir Hall last June.
They have expressed their gratitude at having the opportunity to practice with the choristers of Caldicot under the guidance of Musical Director Sian Hatton and Assistant Musical Director Shirley Anne James.
The choir was also recently joined by second tenor Christopher Brit from Pendyrus Male Voice Choir who will also be at the Royal Albert Hall.
