Every year the Wimborne St Giles Flower Festival brings many visitors to the village to see the incredible displays of flowers in the Church and Caldicot Male Voice Choir is honoured to have been invited to sing at a concert concert in the Wimborne St Giles Church on Saturday 15th with the Brass Ensemble of Queen Elizabeth’s School, Wimborne which starts at 7.00 pm.
Tickets available in advance, £12.00 to include a glass of wine.
This year the Flower Festival will be on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th July and the theme is ‘Country Ways’. The Festival is open from 10.00am – 6.00pm.
Don’t forget to visit the Village Hall for refreshments while you are here – they will be served from 11.00am on both Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be a ‘Songs of Praise’ service in the Church on Sunday 16th at 6pm.
And finally, Wimborne Voices, an a-cappella folk group, will be singing traditional folk songs in the Church during the afternoon on Sunday.
