We are always thrilled to welcome visitors to our Choir Hall, none more so than to welcome a visitor who originally comes from Canada but has lived in Caldicot since last November. Andy Friedman came to listen to us after seeing a poster advertising our Gala Concert on Saturday and at half time was so keen to join in, he asked what does it take to join the choir. It was immediately arranged for him to go into the back room with Siân like so many others before him, to warble up and down the scales to see where his voice best suited the choir.
After a few minutes they emerged and Siân was excited to announce that Andy is a top tenor. Where do these tenors keep coming from? Is it something in the water? Andy moved from Canada to the UK about ten years ago and works in the Bristol area. Welcome Andy, we’re sure that you will have a long and happy association with our Choir.
