It is with great regret that Richard Evans, our long-standing President since 1992 announced last night, in an emotional presentation that for personal reasons he intends moving back to his roots near Porthcawl in the coming year. Because of this decision he finds it impossible to remain as an active chorister with the Choir. However, he will continue to do his best to serve the Choir as its President for the foreseeable future.
Richard is very busy, as always in organising the Race Night in March and asks all Choristers to give him their full support in this venture by finding sponsors and selling tickets. We all know how much this raises for the Choir each year and we will be eternally grateful to Richard for his supreme efforts over the years despite suffering personal tragedies and health problems.
We wish Richard our most sincere best wishes for the future and look forward to his continuing long association as President with Caldicot Male Voice Choir.
