Choir presents cheque to St David’s Hospice Care

Following on from the St David’s Day concert on Monday 5th March, Caldicot Male Voice Choir was, on 10th March delighted to present a cheque for £1429 as a result of money raised at the concert to Tania Ansell and Jaz Cuggy, representatives of the St David’s Hospice Care. Tania expressed her appreciation of the effort and support given by the Choir to raise this magnificent amount as a result of the concert.

The photograph shows vice chairman Spikey Runner (Graham Hughes) presenting the cheque to Tania and Jaz.

The charity supports over 2500 patients and needs to raise about £8 million a year to provide its valuable and much needed service to its patients and their families at the most vulnerable time of their lives. For further details please visit its website

The concert was held at the request of long standing bass chorister Wyn Goodwin who was cared for by the Hospice, like so many other past members of the Choir, before sadly passing away last September.
