  1. Hello, I am secretary of the Cardiff Voluntary Branch of the charity BLOODWISE, (formerly Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research). I organise four fundraising concerts each year, and I am hoping the your Choir will be able to come along next year, on March 24th, or June 23rd. The concerts are held in Bethany Baptist Church, Cardiff.
(You did sing for us in May 2012)
We are happy to cover expenses.
I look forward to hearing from you

  2. Dear Jeff
Thank you so much for organising an Open Concert on Thursday 13th October 2016, to help raise money towards carpeting for Bethany’s new extension.
We managed to raise £370 which will help us towards our total cost.
Please thank everyone involved, we very much appreciated your efforts.

  3. Dear Jeff on behalf of Bethany Baptist Fellowship, I would like to give our very heartfelt thanks for allowing us to use your lovely hall. Thank you for all your help and for the bar staff giving their time it was very much appreciated. We had a very successful and heart rendering evening with Sound of Wales and our Missionary Team from Petal Harvey Baptist Church Mississippi America, they were both fantastic.

  4. Have just enjoyed the pics of your concert in Taunton on Saturday. Thank you for such a memorable and happy evening helping us to raise funds for The Children’s Hospice South West. When you finished with “Land of my Fathers” the hair on the back of my neck stood up – and I was then listening for the ref’s whistle for kick off! Warm thanks to everyone for coming a l;ong way and giving us a real treat!

    1. Lynn and Cenn,
As always it was great to see you both at the Annual and thank you for your kind comments.
We have had excellent feedback regarding the concert. We all felt it was the best concert we have done in years.
Look forward to seeing you both soon.

  5. As a non Welsh speaking “Patron” of Dunvant Male choir, “Friend” of Worcester Male voice choir and “wanted” by Hereford Police Male Voice choir I found your http://www.caldicotmalevoicechoir.co.uk/?page_id=4 website extremely useful with not only the Welsh words but also the phonetics. This site is no longer available. Could you please reinstate it’s accessibility?

  6. Hello,

I am a dutch conductor of a male choir and i was very impressed by the singing of your choir, especially the song “O Gymru”.
After we heard you sing this beautiful song (on your website) we also like to sing it, but, searching for the sheetmusic I can’t find this particular arrangement. Is it possible for You to inform me about the Music publisher? (or perhaps send a scan/PDF) of the score???

    kind regards
    Peter Ligthart

  7. Just checking up on my father and the rest of the ‘old timers’. So glad the choir is thriving and I love the ‘new look’ concert uniforms- very dashing. hello to Colin, Tommy, Dai and all those gentlemen that I was constantly around growing up and to my dad, Bob Doggett. Hopefully in the not to distant future i will be able to say hello in person and then listen to the choir outside of the CD that I was sent last Christmas.

  11. You may be aware that Caldicot Castle celebrates its 50th anniversary next year (50 years of council ownership) and you are also celebrating. I was wondering if you would like to do something jointly like a concert at the castle?

If you would like to explore the idea and chat about dates that would be good.
